Special Guest Teachers

On each Retreat I have chosen skilled, talented, wise, passionate, spiritual, heart-centered yogis, teachers, Ayurveda health coaches, massage therapists, and tour guides. In some cases they specially fly in to help make your experience as memorable and life-changing as possible. In other cases, they live locally and can offer their expertise in the culture and the native land.

Dr. Nolan Lee

In Dec. 2011, I was the Assistant Manager of a new yoga studio in Lincoln Square, Chicago. In putting together the schedule, I had not yet met Nolan  but had heard that he was both a great person and a great instructor. I reached out to him and he agreed to teach our Sundays noon class. From there a friendship blossomed. Over the past 4 years we have enjoyed Wanderlust in Copper Mountain, Bhakti Fest in Madison, yoga festivals, and  functions. In between our busy lives, when I am in Chicago, we try to meet monthly for dinner to share laughs and try a new restaurant. I appreciate Nolan not only as  great friend but also as a genuine, kind, humble, grounded, accessible, skilled professional who left his successful career in Real Estate to pursue his passion.

Dr. Lee is a board certified and licensed chiropractic physician and certified acupuncturist specializing in movement assessment and dysfunction. He has a passion for functional anatomy and biomechanics and believes that movement is life. His goal for his patients is to keep them moving optimally and pain free to pursue all the life activities that they desire.
